Your Day-to-Day Impact

You’ll play a vital role in our Quality team by:

• Set up all hand tools.
• Review work order packet.
• Ensure all Log Sheet information is correct.
• Coordinate with the Gage Lab for proper gages to measure product.
• Verify gages are mastered and set as required after and during production operation.
• Log all measurements for product on to the Log Sheet based on frequency as instructed for product type and Customer.
• Identify all rejected product on Log Sheet.
• Make sure all First and Last Article inspections are conducted as required.
• Alert operator and Foreman if cause of rejection persists and participates in resolving of reason for rejection.
• Ensure that material for order is correct as described on the work order.
• Alert Foreman and Gage Lab of any concerns regarding performance of gaging or measurement instruments.
• Follow all applicable work instructions, specifications and requirements.
• Assist in training of other inspectors.
• Any other duties as assigned by Foreman or Manager.

Note: This role involves work outdoors with responsibilities that involve being outside for extended periods in a range of weather conditions, from warm to cooler temperatures.

What You Bring

We’re looking for candidates who are sharp, safety-focused, and ready to roll up their sleeves:

• High School education or equivalent, required.
• Three (3) years previous experience in threading processes, quality control, FVI experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Working knowledge of blueprint reading, shop math, geometry, trigonometry, and final visual inspections.
