About the Role:

We Care For You Senior Services in Southbury, CT is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our caring team. Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes in patient condition to nursing staff
• Provide mobility assistance, including transferring and repositioning residents to prevent pressure injuries
• Support meal preparation and feeding assistance to ensure proper nutrition and hydration
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all residents
• Build trusting relationships with residents and families through compassionate, person-centered care
• Document care activities accurately in accordance with facility policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Active Connecticut CNA certification in good standing
• Previous experience in a senior care, long-term care, or home health setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to assist with patient transfers and perform physical tasks associated with resident care
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a high standard of care
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Genuine compassion and patience when working with elderly populations
