The Dog Stop® Cumming–Midway The Dog Stop® Cumming–Midway has been proudly serving our community for just over a year, and due to continued growth, we’re excited to add a second professional groomer to our team! We’re looking for an enthusiastic, experienced groomer who takes pride in their craft and enjoys building lasting relationships with both dogs and their people. Our thoughtfully designed, modern facility was built with groomers in mind—and we’d love for you to be part of shaping its future. What We Offer Commission-based pay on all grooming services plus tips Discounts on all store products and services Consistent schedule: grooming offered Monday–Saturday Full-time opportunity: 5 days per week A clean, well-equipped, groomer-focused facility Supportive team environment and a growing, loyal clientele ✨ Key Responsibilities Perform full nose‑to‑tail grooms for all breeds (bath, blow‑dry, nail trims, full body cuts) Provide walk‑in services, including nail trims and gland expressions Bathe dogs of all sizes Build strong relationships with pet parents and their dogs Educate clients on appropriate grooming styles and maintenance needs Manage a busy grooming schedule and communicate timing/progress with reception and clients Maintain a clean, safe, and organized grooming room Track and manage grooming inventory Properly care for and maintain grooming tools Organize and update client and pet profiles What We’re Looking For At least 1 year of professional grooming experience with a wide variety of breeds and sizes Strong communication and customer service skills Exceptional attention to detail and professionalism Reliable, responsible, and self‑motivated Positive, upbeat, and team‑oriented attitude A genuine love for dogs and animal care How to Apply Please submit: Your résumé A brief paragraph explaining why you’d be a great fit for our team Selected candidates will be asked to provide three professional references .
