Clean Room Operator

The Clean Room Operator plays a hands-on role in a manufacturing environment, focusing on the movement and organization of inventory, lumber, and finished products during the initial training period, and progressing to cutting, shaping, and assembling wood products according to detailed specifications. This position involves operating a variety of woodworking equipment, performing finishing tasks, and ensuring high-quality standards while maintaining a clean and safe work area.

Responsibilities

• Move, organize, and stage inventory, lumber, and finished products during the first 30 days, including loading and unloading materials as needed.
• Cut and shape wood materials used for frames, signs, decor, and store fixtures, following detailed specifications and work orders.
• Operate woodworking equipment such as saws, sanders, routers, and cutting machines in a safe and efficient manner.
• Build and assemble wood products according to plans and specifications, ensuring accuracy and structural integrity.
• Perform finishing tasks including sanding, staining, painting, and other finishing processes to achieve the desired look and quality.
• Inspect products for quality, identify defects or inconsistencies, and make necessary adjustments to meet quality standards.
• Measure materials accurately using appropriate tools and read work orders or plans to determine cutting, assembly, and finishing requirements.
• Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
• Handle general labor tasks in a manufacturing and warehouse environment, supporting production and machine operation activities as needed

Work Environment

This role is based in a manufacturing facility with a Monday through Friday schedule from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. The environment includes warehouse and production areas where employees handle lumber and finished wood products, operate woodworking machines, and perform general labor tasks. Work is physically active and involves regular lifting, moving materials, and standing for extended periods. Safety procedures are strictly followed, and the workspace is kept clean and organized to support efficient production and a safe, professional atmosphere.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oklahoma City, OK.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
