We are friendly, respectful, and motivated to deliver strong performance in everything we do.In addition to training and career advancement opportunities, we offer competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, life insurance, paid disability insurances, education reimbursement and more.General Purpose: Sets up and operates CNC machines and machining centers to fabricate metallic and non-metallic parts.Major Duties and Responsibilities:Study blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, and specifications or sample parts to determine specifications and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations, and set up requirementsSelects, aligns and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials on machines such as mills, lathes, jig borers, grinders and shapersCalculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, depth and angle of cut or enters commands to retrieve, input or edit computerized machine control mediaStarts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out of tolerance machining and adjusts machine controls or control medial as requiredVerifies conformance of finished work piece to specificationsSets up and operates machine on trial run to verify accuracy of machine settings or programmed control dataInstalls machine replacement partsConfers with engineers and production to resolve machining or assembly issuesKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:CNC machining experience and/or certification or enrollment in CNC certification programEducation and/or Training:High school diploma or GEDPrefer a minimum of two (2) years machine operations experience and/or enrollment and completion of apprentice program.Base Compensation: $23.00-$25.00 depending on experienceComprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance401(k) plan with company matching contributionsPaid time off (PTO) and disability insuranceTuition reimbursement for approved educational programsOngoing career development and training opportunitiesPhysical Requirements/Work Environment:Ability to stand for 8+ hour shiftLift up to 50+ poundsPush, pull, bend and twist upper and lower body.
