Gynecologic Oncologist – Assistant or Associate Professor Department: Gynecology, Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. Full time, 40 hours per week. Overview The Department of Gynecologic Oncology at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is a research‑intensive program with a high-volume clinical portfolio, a robust clinical trials infrastructure, and a strong focus on translational science. What You’ll Do Provide comprehensive surgical and oncologic care for all gynecologic malignancies, including ovarian, uterine, cervical, vulvar and rare cancers. Perform advanced open, minimally invasive, laparoscopic and robotic procedures. Develop and maintain an active clinical practice within the department. Enroll and manage patients on clinical trials and cooperative group studies. Lead or contribute to clinical, translational, population‑based, or health services research. Teach and mentor fellows, residents and students in the ACGME‑accredited three‑year Gynecologic Oncology fellowship program. Contribute to the academic, clinical and strategic growth of the department. Location in Buffalo, New York—a culturally vibrant city with affordable living and a growing medical corridor. What You’ll Bring Required Qualifications MD, DO, or equivalent medical degree. Completion of an ACGME‑accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology residency and Gynecologic Oncology fellowship. Board certification or board eligibility in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Gynecologic Oncology. Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in New York State. Preferred Qualifications Academic accomplishments appropriate for appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Interest or experience in clinical trials, translational research, population science, surgical innovation, cancer disparities, survivorship or related areas. Evidence of scholarly activity, including publications, presentations, grant development or other academic contributions. Commitment to trainee mentorship, multidisciplinary care and collaborative academic practice. Licensing and Certification License to practice as a Medical Doctor in the State of New York. Possession of or eligibility for a valid medical specialty certificate in Gynecologic Oncology.
