About the Position

Job Title

Travel RN – Radiation Oncology

Location

Englewood, Colorado

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an outpatient Radiation Oncology clinic setting
• Perform symptom management and ongoing assessment for patients undergoing radiation therapy
• Educate patients and families on radiation therapy processes, side effects such as skin changes and fatigue, and self-care strategies
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic documentation using Meditech and Mosaic EMR systems
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, physicists, and front office staff to coordinate patient care

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of current Radiation Oncology RN experience in an acute care setting
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience specifically in Radiation Oncology
• Previous experience with Meditech EMR
