About the Position

# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (Med-Surg) – Tennessee Start Date: August 3, 2026 Location: Chattanooga, Tennessee Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 48-hour guarantee available, 4 weekend shifts per 28-day schedule, holiday rotation required Highlights: - 30-bed Medical-Surgical unit with 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio- Comprehensive team support including Clinical Coordinators, Unit Secretaries, PCTs, and Case Management- Meditech documentation system- Focus on diverse Med-Surg patient population including respiratory, renal, GI, and telemetry cases- Float rotation with other staff members as needed- Patient-centered care environment with emphasis on communication and collaboration Requirements: - Active RN license- BLS certification required- Medical-Surgical nursing experience strongly preferred- Experience with telemetry monitoring, central venous catheters, indwelling catheters, heparin drips, and various IV therapies- Demonstrated competency in managing patients with respiratory diseases, renal conditions, and gastrointestinal illnesses- Strong teamwork, compassion, collaboration, and communication skills- Navy blue scrubs required Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work in a well-supported Med-Surg environment where you'll expand your clinical skills across multiple specialties while working alongside experienced team members.
