Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to determine each client’s mental health status, strengths, and treatment needs, ensuring an accurate understanding of their unique situations.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
- Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to create and implement coordinated treatment plans tailored to each patient.
- Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, treatment options, and medication management, empowering them to partake in their care decisions.
- Develop personalized treatment plans in cooperation with the treatment team, taking into account patient preferences and goals for recovery.
- Advocate for patients’ rights and facilitate access to necessary resources within the complex mental health system, ensuring they receive optimal support.
- Lead therapeutic group sessions, psychoeducational workshops, and discharge planning meetings, promoting a holistic recovery experience.
Patient Population / Client Focus
You will work with a diverse population, ranging from children to elderly individuals, each facing varying mental health challenges, including but not limited to mood and anxiety disorders, substance use issues, and other psychological conditions. Your role will be instrumental in fostering resilience and improved outcomes through individualized care and ongoing support.
Qualifications
- A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
- An active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.
- A strong understanding of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and effective crisis intervention strategies is essential.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills are crucial for working within our multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Experience
- At least two years of clinical experience providing behavioral health services actively.
- Experience with telehealth services is a plus, particularly during the initial phases of building rapport with clients virtually.
- Familiarity with various therapeutic approaches and diagnoses to provide a broad spectrum of care.
Compensation and Benefits
