Weekend call hours are generally 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. Must be able to arrive at the hospital within 60 minutes while on call. $10,000 Sign-On Bonus Available! If you thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy caring for patients during important moments in their healthcare experience, we invite you to join our team. **What You'll Do**As an Endoscopy Registered Nurse, you will provide safe, high-quality, patient-centered care throughout all phases of the endoscopy process.You will perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement individualized nursing care plans, and provide education to patients and families regarding procedures, recovery expectations, and discharge instructions. You will ensure all required documentation, informed consents, and procedural preparations are completed before procedures begin.During procedures, you will assist physicians and providers while maintaining patient safety, comfort, and clinical monitoring. You will monitor patients receiving moderate sedation, recognize changes in patient condition, and respond appropriately with timely interventions. Responsibilities also include medication administration, specimen management, procedural documentation, and emergency response when necessary. Following procedures, you will provide recovery care, evaluate patient readiness for discharge, reinforce education, and ensure patients and families understand post-procedural instructions and follow-up recommendations.You will collaborate closely with physicians, anesthesia providers, nurses, and support staff to ensure efficient patient flow, effective communication, and exceptional clinical outcomes. This role participates in interdisciplinary care coordination and promotes a positive patient experience through compassionate and professional interactions. You will support quality improvement initiatives, infection prevention efforts, medication safety practices, and compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
