District Sales Manager - Core Diagnostics - S. CA and HI

Abbott seeks a District Sales Manager for Core Lab Diagnostics in Southern California to lead sales strategy, manage account executives and sales ambassadors, and drive revenue growth across the territory. The role combines strategic planning, team leadership, and customer relationship management with approximately 75% travel.
Responsibilities
- Lead sales strategy development and execution to identify opportunities and grow revenue in Southern California territory
- Recruit, coach, and develop account executives and sales ambassadors with clear direction and accountability
- Negotiate long-term customer contracts and support team with pricing and profitability discussions
- Manage district operations including budgets, business plans, and resources to achieve regional objectives
- Build strategic partnerships with customers and stakeholders to ensure retention and long-term loyalty
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience
- Minimum 7 years related experience; medical devices or capital sales knowledge preferred
- Experience in quality system-driven organizations
- Ability to influence team member activities and drive issue resolution
- Strong solution selling, relationship building, and communication skills
- Deep product and industry knowledge with customer stakeholder understanding
Compensation: $113,300–$226,700 base
