Position Summary and Qualifications

The staff respiratory therapist is expected to demonstrate expertise in all areas of Respiratory Care and other multidisciplinary skills as outlined by training and competency assessments. Responsibilities include executing assigned tasks while adhering to hospital and respiratory care policies. There may be opportunities to work with respiratory students in a clinical setting.

Required Qualifications:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-CRT).
• State certification as a Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner (RRT/RCP).
• Relevant certification.
