We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our pediatric dental team. Responsibilities include assisting the dentist during procedures, preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, taking dental X-rays, maintaining accurate patient records, providing excellent patient care, and helping create a positive experience for children and their families. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, a team player, and has excellent communication skills. Pediatric dental experience is preferred but not required. Current Florida Dental Assistant certification and radiology certification are required .

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures
• Prepare and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments
• Take and develop dental X-rays
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Provide compassionate care and support to pediatric patients and families
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with dental team members and patients

Required Qualifications

• Current Florida Dental Assistant certification
• Current radiology certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Dependable, organized, and a team player

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in pediatric dentistry
