We’re working with a well-established, AAHA-accredited veterinary hospital in Lakewood, CO that is seeking a Medical Director to lead its clinical team while continuing to practice high-quality medicine. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced veterinarian to step into a leadership role with autonomy, influence, and strong operational support.

The hospital is equipped with modern veterinary technology and offers a wide range of services, including:
- Digital radiography and in-house laboratory diagnostics
- Routine surgical procedures, including spays and neuters
- Preventative care and general medical services

Leadership Opportunity
This role combines hands-on veterinary care with leadership responsibility, offering the chance to shape the hospital’s medical direction while benefiting from established business and operational support.

- Leading and mentoring the veterinary team

Schedule
- Full-time position
- Four 10-hour shifts per week
- Hospital hours:
- Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Role Overview
- Provide comprehensive medical care for small animals (cats and dogs)
- Manage a mix of wellness and more complex medical cases
- Lead clinical operations and support team development
- Build strong client relationships through compassionate communication
Ideal Candidate
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent
- Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in Colorado
- Previous leadership experience or strong interest in leadership
- Passionate about delivering high-quality veterinary care
- Strong communication and team-building skills
