MVP Roofing is hiring an experienced residential construction professional to handle the carpentry, exterior repairs, and general construction work that often accompanies our roofing projects. Our roofing crews handle the roof—we need someone versatile who can take care of everything around it.

We’re looking for someone with broad, hands-on construction experience who can look at a project, understand what needs to be done, and complete quality work without needing step-by-step direction.

What You'll Do

The work will vary from project to project and may include:

• Carpentry and general residential construction
• Framing and wood repairs
• Siding repair and replacement
• Soffit and fascia work
• Trim and finish carpentry
• Deck and exterior wood repairs
• Repairing areas affected by storm or water damage
• Exterior repairs associated with roofing projects
• Punch-list and finish work
• Troubleshooting unexpected construction issues
• Assisting with other residential repair and improvement projects as needed

This is a good fit for someone who enjoys variety and is comfortable moving between different types of construction work rather than doing one specific task every day.

What We're Looking For

• Several years of hands-on residential construction, carpentry, remodeling, or similar experience
• Strong general construction knowledge
• Ability to work independently and problem-solve in the field
• Comfortable using common construction tools and equipment
• Ability to assess a repair and determine the best way to complete it
• Attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
• Dependable and able to manage time effectively
• Professional and respectful when working at customers' homes
• Comfortable working outdoors and at heights when necessary
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Roofing Experience Is Not Required

You do not need to be a roofer.

MVP Roofing has experienced roofing crews to handle our roof installations. We're looking for someone with the broader construction skills needed to handle the carpentry, repairs, and other work that comes up alongside those projects.

If you've worked as a carpenter, remodeler, residential construction professional, maintenance technician, or skilled handyman and are comfortable tackling a wide range of projects, we'd like to hear from you.
