Microbiology Medical Technologist/Medical Lab Technician in Rhode Island

Job Overview We are hiring a Microbiology Med Tech in Rhode Island! The Microbiology MT/MLT will perform a wide range of waived, moderate, and high-complexity tests with accuracy and confidence; evaluate specimens and apply established criteria to ensure quality results; run quality assurance and control procedures to keep our lab at the highest standards (federal, state, and CAP compliance included); maintain and calibrate lab equipment so performance is always optimal; and more. Location & Schedule Location: Near Providence, RI.Type: Full‑time and permanent.Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00PM–11:30PM. Responsibilities Perform a wide range of waived, moderate, and high‑complexity tests. Evaluate specimens and apply established criteria to ensure quality results. Run quality assurance and control procedures to keep our lab at the highest standards (federal, state, and CAP compliance). Maintain and calibrate lab equipment to ensure optimal performance. Participate in additional duties as needed. Requirements College degree in microbiology or related field. ASCP certification. Prior experience in microbiology.
