Epidemiologist
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As an Epidemiologist, you will use your knowledge and experience to optimize business results and customer experience by:
- Lead and conduct complex epidemiologic studies and surveillance activities by designing studies, analyzing public health issues, evaluating epidemiologic methods, and developing procedures to improve data quality and study implementation.
- Provide scientific consultation and technical assistance to federal, state, local, and other public health organizations on complex epidemiologic investigations, surveillance systems, and public health research activities.
- Analyze, interpret, and disseminate epidemiologic research findings by preparing scientific reports, manuscripts, publications, and presentations for professional audiences and peer-reviewed journals.
- Translate epidemiologic evidence into public health practice by collaborating with internal and external partners to apply research findings, improve prevention strategies, and support public health decision-making.
