FORVIA is looking for a year‑round Finance Intern for its headquarters in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Your Mission, Roles And Responsibilities The role of the Finance Intern is to support the processes within the department in order to ensure proper accounting, robust reporting, and creation of detailed forecasts and other analysis. Performs numerous admin functions in support of the Program, Acquisition & Product Line teams. Responsibilities Development programs dashboard and MPMR Acquisition program BP tool data entry Ad hoc financial analysis and modeling Prepare and publish awards books for new business awards Generate reclass journal entries to correct errors found in WBS analysis Create WBS numbers for Acquisition/Development programs based upon approvals received Administrator of the ACA spending control process Support team on analysis of actual spending, open commits, etc. regarding WBS spending Data analysis and trouble‑shooting Support special projects as assigned Propose continuous improvement ideas in business efficiency and cost reduction Capitalizes on knowledge and shares best practices / lessons learned across organization and within the site Commitment to the highest ethical standards and adherence to: Faurecia Group Code of Ethics Faurecia Group Code of Management Faurecia Group Environmental Policy Faurecia Group Quality Policy All other duties as assigned by the company Knowledge / Skills Financial analysis & Modeling Intermediate Excel Some previous work experience [preferred not required] Capability to work within a team Strong written and oral communication skills Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, General Business, or a related field.
