Job Title: Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: High Acuity Floor, Surgery Trauma Duration: Not specified Shift: Various shifts available Hours per Shift: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty License: Not specified Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred Must-Have: - Proficient in EPIC - No RTO Description: Looking for a skilled nurse to work in a high acuity environment. The patient population includes surgical cases, gunshot victims, quadriplegics, and paraplegics. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 5:1. There will be support staff, including Nursing Support Technicians and phlebotomists. A unit secretary will be present during night shifts. Nurse handoffs will be conducted with the emergency department nurse and the admitting unit. Candidates must be flexible with available shifts as block scheduling is not offered.
