Make Compassionate Phone Calls - Virtual, in Indiana

Compassus Hospice

Do you have a warm voice and a caring heart? Compassus Hospice is seeking volunteers in Northern Indiana who can make friendly, supportive phone calls to patients and families in the Kokomo area and in the following counties:

Howard
Tipton
Miami
Cass
Carroll
Clinton

This role is virtual, but volunteers must be local to Northern Indiana so they can stay connected to the community and participate in orientation.

Volunteers provide:

Friendly check-in calls ("tuck-in" calls) to ensure patients and families have what they need for the week
Companionship and conversation over the phone
Comfort, reassurance, and a listening ear

Your time and compassion help patients and families feel supported and never alone.

All training/orientation is provided free of charge to the volunteer.
