Location: Houston, Texas 77030 Rate: $140$160/hr Contract Length: 15 years (long-term contract locum tenens)

About the Role:

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Primary Care Physician in Internal Medicine or Family Practice to join our dedicated team caring for Veterans in the Houston area. This is a full-time, on-site long-term locum tenens contract role, providing direct patient care Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m. The initial contract term is 15 years based on performance and continued need.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive primary care services in an outpatient setting.
• Conduct histories and physicals; diagnose, treat, and manage patients in accordance with VA standards.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and coordinate specialty care as needed.
• Ensure timely patient flow and compliance with VA wait time and consult completion guidelines.
• Participate in quality improvement activities as required.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all VA policies and privacy regulations.

Minimum Requirements:

• US Citizen or Green Card holder (per Federal requirements).
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.
• Active, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. State, Territory, or the District of Columbia.
• Current DEA registration.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Must provide three professional references with email addresses.
• Must provide city, state, and ZIP code of primary residence to confirm proximity within a 2-hour drive or 90 miles of Houston, TX or be willing to relocate prior to start. If relocation is required, a signed letter of commitment and availability for an expected start date of on or about October 1, 2025 is required.
