Registered Respiratory Therapist - Pediatrics

Location: South Carolina

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, days from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with every other weekend required.

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with pediatric experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to pediatric patients, including those in the NICU and PICU settings. The role does not require on-call shifts but does include a holiday rotation.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments per physician orders.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to therapy.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care for pediatric patients.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory health and management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a pediatric or NICU setting.
• RRT certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• BLS and PALS certifications required.
• Active South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (SC RCP) license required upon start.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
