Manufacturing Maintenance Technician III, 2nd Shift

Medtronic seeks an Equipment Maintenance Tech III for its Eatontown, NJ manufacturing facility, working second shift. The role involves installing, troubleshooting, and repairing medical device production equipment while collaborating with engineering and production teams to ensure operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment and automated systems
- Diagnose equipment failures and replace mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic components
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and improve reliability
- Document maintenance activities and repair history in maintenance management systems
- Support equipment upgrades, process improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of equipment maintenance or related work experience
- Knowledge of machine controllers, PLCs, robotics, electrical and vacuum systems
- Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
- Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and control system failures
- Familiarity with CMMS and preventive maintenance programs
- Experience in regulated manufacturing environments such as medical device or aerospace
