What You'll Do

• Provide direct patient care within the Cardiovascular Unit for cardiac patients post-procedure and post-op surgical patients
• Use clinical judgment to monitor, assess, and respond to patient health responses
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions based on physician orders and patient needs
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and update patient care plans
• Educate patients and families about procedures, treatments, and post-discharge care
• Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic health records
• Support national clinical trials managed by the unit's research department

What You Need

• Valid RN license in Michigan
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in cardiac, stepdown, or critical care units
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Ability to work night shifts overnight on a flexible schedule
