Position Overview and Qualifications

The Respiratory Care Specialist is responsible for delivering limited respiratory care to patients as prescribed by physicians, adhering to established standards and protocols. This role involves various tasks related to the cleaning, disinfecting, and storage of respiratory therapy equipment and supplies.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be in the second year of a Respiratory Care program
• Verification of student status is required initially and semi-annually thereafter
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment
• High School Diploma or GED
• Completion of a Vocational School program or an Associate Degree
