NURSING ASST (CERT) - Fulltime Day Float

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Full Time Days Float Corona Regional Medical Center, Corona, CA Responsibilities Working under the direction of the licensed nurse, the Certified Nursing Assistant provides nursing care within his/her scope of practice following unit‑specific standards of care and the policies and procedures of Corona Regional Medical Center. Qualifications Current BLS (CPR) required. Knowledge of medical terminology. Ability to exercise phone etiquette and computer skills. Verbal and written communication skills. Prior experience as a Monitor Tech preferred or completion of a dysrhythmia for monitor techs course within 90 days. Completion of unit secretary course or equivalent healthcare experience preferred. Minimum Essential Experience 2 years of recent CNA experience. Required Licensure / Certifications Must have current, valid Certified Nursing Assistant certification, or be currently enrolled in an accredited Registered Nursing program with completion of the first clinical curriculum semester. Current BLS (CPR) Requirement Current BLS (CPR) certification through the American Heart Association is required.
