PipefitterArcher Western Construction is currently seeking a Pipefitter for the Central Water Group/ Hutto South WWTP Expansion, in Hutto, TX.The Pipefitter will assemble, install, and replace pipe systems and related portions including metal, plastic, ceramic and composition; install plumbing fixtures.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Assembles, and installs piping and tubing systems that are to conduct water, steam, air, and other fluids, solids, or gases in and around buildings and structuresInstalls vacuum piping systems, drainage and sewage lines (laterals) from buildings to the point of attachmentHandles and moves materials and equipment to be used by plumbers, pipefitters, and steamfittersQualifications:3-5 Years Verifiable Experience PreferredExperience in working with piping systems and fixtures; adequate knowledge of lengths and construction measurements for use of tools and machineryMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditionsRequires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properlyPossess a strong work ethic and desire to learnRequires good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periodsMust be able to pass a pre-employment drug screeningThe Walsh Group, Ltd.
