Orrick currently has an excellent opportunity for an Events Specialist based in any of our U.S. offices with preference for the Boston, Chicago, LA, Seattle, Portland or Miami office. Join Orrick's high-performing Events Team and help deliver more than 900 events annually that strengthen client relationships, elevate our brand, and support strategic business growth. We're looking for a proactive event professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves bringing exceptional experiences to life—from intimate client dinners and webinars to large-scale conferences and sponsorship activations.
As an Events Specialist, you'll own events from concept through execution and post-event analysis, partnering with attorneys, business development professionals, and firm leadership to create meaningful client and business engagement opportunities. In this role, you will:

- Prepare attorneys and key stakeholders with briefing materials, attendee intelligence, and event logistics.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and vendors while delivering best-in-class service.
- Provide onsite event leadership, including registration management, staffing coordination, and real-time problem solving.
Qualifications: What We're Looking For
- 3–5 years of event planning experience, preferably in a professional services, legal, financial, or corporate environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
- Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Experience working with event management, CRM, registration, or marketing technology platforms.
- A collaborative mindset, customer-service orientation, and ability to build credibility with stakeholders at all levels.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Occasional travel required for onsite event support.
This is an opportunity to make a visible impact across a global organization while creating memorable experiences that support client relationships, business development, and firm growth. You'll join a collaborative team that values innovation, creativity, and continuous improvement—and you'll have the autonomy to take ownership of your events from start to finish.
