Night Shift Sweeping Crew Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. (Jorgensen) is currently seeking a full‑time Sweeping Crew member to perform advanced maintenance operations during the night shift in the Dallas & Fort Worth, TX area. The position is based in Grand Prairie, TX and requires performing a variety of tasks related to roadway maintenance, primarily roadway sweeping and debris removal. Occasionally, special events may require tasks related to snow and ice control, and incident response. Adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Jorgensen Company policies and procedures, is required. Schedule flexibility is a must. Required Experience Ability to work at varied heights Exposure to using shovels, brooms, and various small hand tools MOT (Traffic Control) certifications or courses Must have a valid Driver’s License Preferred Experience Minimum 2 years of related experience Ability to operate equipment such as wheel loaders, skid steers, and powered sweeping equipment (mechanical or vacuum) CDL license a plus Bilingual: English/Spanish (read/write) preferred but not required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Maintain company standards for background checks (i.e. criminal record, driving record, and controlled substance/drug testing) Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations Carry out simple arithmetic functions Maintain proper safety equipment required for each job Knowledge and ability to adapt to the latest technology Ability to use a smartphone and applications Ability to adjust to changing work schedules Ability to work safely under varying environmental and weather conditions Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate hand/power tools Ability to conduct routine maintenance/preventative maintenance on equipment (greasing, cleaning, etc.) Ability to follow directions from appointed supervisors Schedule Full‑time: Sunday–Thursday, 7:00 PM – 5:30 AM, with some day and weekend work as needed. Must be able to work a rotating schedule and during weather events such as snow, ice, and floods. Compensation Package FREE PPE!
