Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Location: Carthage, TN

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 19:00-07:00

Job Description: The Registered Nurse for the Labor and Delivery department will provide care for maternity women and newborns in the Labor/Delivery, Nursery, and Post-Partum Units. The RN will be responsible for monitoring patients, supporting mothers through labor, and facilitating the transition of newborns into the nursery environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care to maternity women and newborns in the Labor and Delivery unit
• Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs
• Assist in labor and delivery processes
• Provide education and support to mothers during the postpartum period
• Perform necessary documentation and charting in the EHR system

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active RN license in Tennessee
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• NRP certification
• 1+ years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• Fetal monitoring experience is required
