Job Brief
Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Forklift Operator for our client. This position involves supporting warehouse and production operations. This role is responsible for safely transporting raw materials and finished goods, loading and unloading shipments, supplying production lines, and maintaining accurate inventory.

What’s a Typical Day Like?

• Operate sit-down forklifts to safely transport raw materials, finished products, and production components throughout the facility.
• Load and unload trucks while ensuring shipment accuracy and completing receiving documentation.
• Supply production lines with materials to maintain workflow and meet production schedules.
• Perform inventory movements and material transactions using warehouse management systems.
• Utilize RF scanners and inventory software to track materials and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Organize, stage, and store materials in designated warehouse and production areas.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory control activities.
• Conduct daily forklift inspections and report equipment maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with OSHA and company safety standards.
• Collaborate with warehouse, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely material movement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What Are the Requirements of the Job?

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience operating a sit-down forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling.
• Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
• Ability to read work orders and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and climb throughout the shift.
• Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required.
• Warehouse and manufacturing environment.
• Frequent operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Exposure to moving machinery, varying temperatures, and moderate to loud noise levels.
• Required use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including safety shoes, safety glasses, and other equipment as required.
