Your recruiter will be able to clarify expectations and answer any questions you have. **We are currently looking for Operations Verification Associates to join our Beckett team. In this role, you’ll help correctly identify sports trading cards. The ideal candidate will be computer-savvy with a keen eye for detail. Knowledge of sports trading cards is a must!****You’ll report to the Director of Operations, Beckett and work from our Plano, TX office.****Schedule: *Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm*******What You’ll Do:***** **Identify trading cards and associated varieties (Sports Trading Cards)*** **Ability to research to find the correct information about trading cards*** **Communicate effectively with co-workers and other departments as needed*** **Communicate with manufacturers if needed - Topps, Upper Deck, and Panini*** **Help maintain and update the database*** **Safely handle and account for valuable merchandise, ensuring its security and proper handling throughout all process stages*** **Other duties as assigned******Who You Are:***** **1-3 years’ experience with trading cards/collecting, playing.*** **1-3 Years of experience in the collectible card industry (buying, selling, trading)*** **Firsthand Knowledge of sports trading cards*** **Strong research and cataloging skills*** **Effective problem-solving skills*** **Strong written and verbal communication skills*** **High school diploma or equivalent\**** **Must be 18 or older\*******Physical Requirements:***** ****Computer Use:** Typing, mouse work, and sitting and looking at a computer potentially for long periods of time*** ****Hand Use:** Regular hand use for various tasks*** ****Hearing Requirements:** Ability to hear alarms, signals, and verbal instructions*** ****Lifting and Carrying:** Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 25 pounds*** ****Sitting or Standing:** Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time******Hourly Rate:** The reasonable estimated hourly rate for this position is $18.50. Actual compensation varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, prior experience and skill set.
