The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $105000.00/yr.

Job Description

Responsibilities
- Champion plant safety programs, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory requirements, lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, and risk assessment practices.
- Drive and uphold quality standards by training and coaching team members, performing root cause analysis of quality and safety issues, and implementing corrective actions.
- Lead production teams to achieve targets related to safety, reliability, efficiency, maintenance compliance, and waste reduction.
- Coordinate resources and troubleshooting efforts during equipment breakdowns and operational disruptions to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.
- Monitor, analyze, and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) including productivity, downtime, changeover performance, costs, and overall operational efficiency.
- Develop short- and long-term operational plans that align production activities with broader business objectives and strategic goals.
- Hire, train, coach, and develop employees, setting clear performance and attendance expectations and providing ongoing feedback and support.
- Foster positive employee relations by promoting open communication, collaboration, and a culture of engagement and continuous development.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using World Class Manufacturing (WCM) and Lean principles to optimize processes, reduce waste, and enhance performance.
- Proven experience in manufacturing leadership within a production environment.
- Demonstrated ability in production supervision and production management.
- Strong knowledge of safety programs, regulatory compliance, and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Solid understanding of quality standards, maintenance practices, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience leading teams and driving operational performance in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions.
- Excellent communication skills for coaching, training, and fostering positive employee relations.
- Effective leadership skills with a focus on employee engagement, development, and performance management.
- Ability to monitor and interpret KPIs such as productivity, downtime, changeover performance, costs, and operational efficiency.
- Experience applying World Class Manufacturing (WCM) principles to drive operational improvements.
- Experience in Lean methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing.
- Ability to develop both short- and long-term operational plans aligned with business objectives.
