License: ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with advanced registry in CT
Certifications: BLS required
Must-Have:
- Ability to start peripheral IV for venous and arterial phase scanning
- Knowledge of multi-phase scanning
- Experience with stroke imaging, including perfusion
- Experience with colorectal studies
- TeraRecon knowledge preferred but not required
Description:
The CT Technologist will perform CT scans and assist with procedures as needed.
The department performs an average of 68 studies per day, with a higher volume during weekdays.
Patient types served include emergency department, inpatient, observation, and outpatient.
CT guided invasive procedures will be part of the responsibilities.
Anesthesia cases may also be performed when required.
The position will not involve cardiac CT imaging.
The role requires weekend coverage and call responsibilities, with a schedule that includes two shifts every five weeks.
Proper completion of administrative onboarding and departmental training is necessary.
The technologist will work closely with other staff to ensure quality patient care.
Knowledge of EMR, RIS, and PACS systems is preferred.
The department is well-equipped with advanced technology and imaging devices.
Scrub color for this position is black.
