Job Summary:

As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will play a key role in our tax department by providing expert tax advice and services to our clients. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, and identifying opportunities for tax savings and efficiencies. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage a portfolio of clients and serve as their primary point of contact for all tax-related matters

- Prepare and review tax returns, including individual, corporate, and partnership returns

- Conduct tax research and provide guidance on complex tax issues

- Identify and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities for clients

- Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate any potential impact to clients

- Train and mentor junior tax accountants on tax preparation and compliance procedures

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their satisfaction and retention

- Collaborate with other departments within the company to provide comprehensive financial solutions to clients

- Assist with special projects and initiatives as needed

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

- CPA certification preferred

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting, preferably in a public accounting firm or financial services company

- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations

- Experience managing a portfolio of clients and providing exceptional customer service

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Proficient in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite
