Take full responsibility for the quality of the product and line efficiencyProperly diagnose mechanical and quality problems, determine the necessary repairs, and restore malfunctioning equipment back to service with minimum delayHandle pallets, tooling, barrels, boxes and cartons as requiredRecord product and equipment inspection to ensure quality productionMaintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashionAdhere to all safety regulations and report any hazards that may compromise a safe workplaceWork closely with supervisors and fellow employees on improvement teams to uncover and implement safety, quality, productivity, and cost control advancementsWhat You'll NeedHigh school diploma or equivalentJourneyman Mechanic2+ years as an Industrial Mechanic in a manufacturing environmentAbout Silgan ContainersWe are the largest metal food packaging producer in North America, committed to sustainability and innovation.
