Registered Nurse, PCU travel assignment in Atlanta, Georgia. Start date 10/05/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $1,676–$1,811 with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Responsibilities
- Provide direct RN care to adults on a medical step-down unit, maintaining a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Monitor vitals, assess clinical changes, administer medications and IV therapies, and adjust care plans under physician direction
- Recognize and respond to deteriorating conditions such as sepsis, respiratory failure, heart failure decompensation, and hypertensive emergencies
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and ancillary staff to coordinate care, discharge planning, and patient education
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic health record with accuracy and timeliness
- Ensure safety and infection control practices, perform routine rounds, and provide patient and family education

Requirements
- Active RN license in Georgia
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a medical step-down or similar inpatient unit
- Experience managing patients with sepsis, heart failure, respiratory compromise, and complex comorbidities
- Ability to work day shift in a high-acuity inpatient setting
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Comfortable with 12-hour shifts and a fast-paced environment
