Educational Requirements

• A degree (Associate's or Bachelor's) in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Preferred: Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Necessary Certifications

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or analogous certifying body
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
