About the Position

Job Title: RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical-Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:30 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years required License: Valid RN license in Tennessee Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Must-Have Skills/Experience: Minimum 1 year of RN experience in Medical-Surgical. Preferred 2+ years of experience in Medical-Surgical. Description: Providing quality health care to the community for 60 years. Employs more than 1,000 employees and 300 physicians. Fully accredited and governed by a local board of trustees. The facility is a 167-bed healthcare facility. It has Level III Trauma Center status. State-specific background checks are required prior to the assignment start date. General staff assessments will include checks against the Abuse Registry prior to the start date. Unit Profile: Medical-Surgical Unit with 12 beds. Patient ratios are 6:1. Electronic Health Record system is used. Supervision is provided by a Nursing Director. Patient population includes adults and geriatrics. Dress code requires scrubs, acceptable colors vary. Casual wear is not permitted.
