Senior Python Data Scraping Engineer

Seeking a part-time remote Senior Python Data Scraping Engineer, the successful candidate will manage end-to-end data extraction workflows, ensuring accuracy and reliability while leveraging internal tools and custom approaches to handle complex web scraping tasks. Key Responsibilities: Own end-to-end data extraction workflows across complex websites, ensuring complete coverage and reliable delivery of structured datasets Leverage internal tools and custom workflows to accelerate data collection, validation, and task execution while meeting defined requirements Ensure reliable extraction from dynamic web sources and enforce data quality standards through validation checks and systematic verification Required Qualifications: At least 5+ years of relevant experience in data engineering, web scraping, automation, or software development Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or related technical fields is a plus Strong experience in Python web scraping, including dynamic content and APIs via proxies Proven ability to extract data from complex structures and solid background in data cleaning, normalization, and validation Experience with cloud infrastructure and containerization as part of real workflows
