Schedule: Full Time - 36 hours per week - Nights Location: Temple, TX Unit Summary STC 3 is a 35-bed monitored hospital unit that cares for a unique population of patients ranging from young adults to geriatrics. Our diverse patient population includes complex urology patients, pulmonary hypertension patients, kidney and pancreas transplant patients, peritoneal dialysis patients, and radioactive implant cases. STC 3 is the only unit in the hospital that performs peritoneal dialysis. STC 3 is the only floor equipped with lead-lined rooms to care for patients receiving radioactive therapies in the inpatient setting. What You'll Do: Peritoneal Dialysis management Epidural Continuous Bladder Irrigation Nephrostomy and Urostomy care Complex urinary catheter insertions and care Suprapubic catheter insertion and care Fistula access You'll also have the opportunity to train in ultrasound guided IV insertion, expanding your clinical expertise and contributing to exceptional patient outcomes. Qualifications We are looking for someone who has completed an established program in Nursing. At least (2) two years in the field. Registered Nurse License.
