Per Diem Pharmacy Tech | West Sacramento, California

A growing retail pharmacy network is seeking reliable, experienced Pharmacy Technicians to join their per diem team. This opportunity offers consistent weekly shifts-typically 3 to 4 days per week-with the chance to pick up additional hours based on availability. Support and growth potential are strong, with multiple locations across the greater Sacramento area, including Lodi and Stockton service sites if needed.


Location:

• Various retail pharmacy sites throughout the greater Sacramento region

Schedule:

• Day, evening, and weekend shifts available

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage typical retail pharmacy technician duties such as answering phones, data entry, label printing, filling and dispensing prescriptions
• Operate cash register and handle inventory management
• Process medication takebacks safely and accurately
• Collaborate effectively with pharmacy staff to ensure a smooth workflow and excellent customer service

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in a high-volume retail pharmacy setting (candidates with less than one year of experience will not be considered)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to support efficient pharmacy operations
• Valid California Pharmacy Technician license; PTCB certification is a plus
• Ability to provide a retail supervisor reference
• Reliable transportation; mileage reimbursement available for commutes over 30 miles
