Forklift Operator

Job Description Job Description We are seeking reliable and skilled Forklift Operators to join our growing team in Ames, IA. In this role, you will operate motorized lift trucks to safely move, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This position requires working consistent 12-hour shifts (either entirely days or entirely nights) on a schedule where the specific working days rotate each week. Pay Rate: $23.00 – $24.00 per hour Schedule: 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) with rotating days of the week Job Description: Operate forklifts safely to move materials throughout the warehouse. Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments. Stack and store goods in their designated warehouse locations. Verify inventory counts and inspect products for damage. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all OSHA and company safety guidelines. Requirements: Experience: Proven experience as a Forklift Operator (Certification preferred). Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work a 12-hour shift with days of the week that rotate. Physical Ability: Capability to lift up to 50 lbs. and sit/stand for long periods. Skills: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
