Key Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Wisconsin Special Education Teacher License
- Demonstrated experience or training in Special Education in a school setting
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach with students
- Ability to create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Comfortable working full-time (37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans tailored to individual student needs
- Assess student abilities and craft measurable IEP goals in conjunction with multidisciplinary teams
- Work closely with general education staff, families, and specialists to ensure cohesive support
- Employ evidence-based strategies to enhance student learning and behavior management
- Track and report student progress, maintaining accurate and timely documentation
- Support students’ academic, emotional, and social development in a safe, encouraging environment
