This travel assignment requires weekend coverage and on-call shifts, with a 30-minute on-call response time.

Responsibilities
- Verify patient identity and review physician orders before performing radiographic procedures.
- Use radiographic equipment to acquire images per physician orders; explain procedures to patients.
- Position patients and assist with mobility as needed; operate imaging equipment safely to minimize patient dose.
- Produce diagnostic-quality images for radiologist interpretation; ensure accurate labeling and proper PACS transmission.
- Monitor patient status, adapt imaging approaches to age-specific needs, and report equipment issues promptly.

Requirements
- ARRT certification and NYS licensure (or ability to obtain licensure prior to start)
- Completion of formal training from an approved School of Radiologic Technology
- Minimum 2 years X-ray Technologist experience, including Level 1 trauma center experience; OR experience
- Experience using C-arm/O-arm in the past 8 months
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- On-call readiness: able to report within 30 minutes for on-call shifts
- Ability to move or lift patients and stand for extended periods
