Pharmacy Technician IIGCS Canton high-volume clinic, Hazardous drug and chemo comp expRequired current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Georgia. MUST have hazardous drug and chemo compounding experience, preferably with experience in oncology facilities. Assists pharmacist in filling, compounding, and dispensing physician orders. Performs various technical duties involved with the handling, packaging, and delivery of pharmaceuticals. The Pharmacy Tech II demonstrates proficiency to practice in two or more specific pharmacy function areas (production/distribution, oncology, inventory management, narcotics, nursery, surgery, compounding and home care/outpatient). Provides patient care services to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patientsRequired CertificationsMin of 2 years of experience within specialty.
