Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a talented Manager Quality 2 to join our team in Baltimore, MD.

The Manager Quality 2 will lead a diverse team of professionals that establish and maintain sector-wide policies, procedures, and toolsets for product quality assurance and nonconformance management within the enterprise manufacturing execution system(MES).

What you will get to do:

• Direct supervision/management of staff members, responsible for providing objective-oriented direction to subordinates utilizing management guidelines & general policies.
• Monitor key process indicators (KPIs) of team performance.
• Lead the development and enhancement of the quality related functions in the MES system tool in terms of nonconformance management and other product quality assurance functionality.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place. Devise and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.
• Support the sector Quality Management System (QMS) Compliance Program to ensure conformity with the AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards.
• Automate data collection and analysis through the use of Microsoft SharePoint tools, Tableau, and/or Power Apps to improve operational efficiency.

The candidate must be a self-starter with a proven track record of multi-discipline team experience and possess outstanding analytical, presentation, strong written and verbal communication skills, facilitation skills, pay attention to detail, and strong organizational skills are important to this role.

Basic Qualifications for the Manager Quality 2:

• Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of experience in Quality, Manufacturing, Product Line, and/or Engineering related field; Master's Degree with 6 years of experience.
• Experience in Data Analytics, Root Cause Analysis, and Corrective and Preventive Action.
• Experience leading and/or managing teams, personnel, and/or projects.
• Experience in all phases of the product development and product realization lifecycle.
• SAP experience.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products (i.e., creation of Excel macros).
• U.S Citizenship Required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experienced in the areas of product research and development, incoming material, production control, product evaluation and reliability, and/or inventory control as they apply to product or process quality.
• Experience implementing SAP modules and reports.
• Experience conducting process audits.
• Experience leading or managing teams.
• Certified in lean and six-sigma quality engineering methodologies.
• Experience with ISO 9001, AS9100 and CMMI standards.
• Experience developing in Microsoft SharePoint or Power Apps.

Primary Level Salary Range: $127,100.00 - $190,700.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
