We provide services in cloud based technologies, virtualization, system security implementation, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, project management, system engineering, system development, hardware, software, system administration, technical writing and help desk support. Position Overview CyberLinx Solutions, LLC is seeking a Splunk Architect. Candidate must have a Security Clearance (WP). Responsibilities Engineer highly complex solutions to meet business requirements or enhance performance. Review and recommend solutions to management based on an independent assessment of current and future performance, stability, and system lifecycle issues. Provide escalated Tier‑3 technical support by investigating and resolving significant system‑related matters (depending on Service Delivery Group). Develop and apply advanced methods, theories, and research techniques to investigate and solve complex system requirements and problems. Develop training tools and architectural documentation. Manage an operational tools team responsible for monitoring the operational infrastructure, supporting asset and inventory management, change and configuration management, problem and incident resolution, availability and capacity management (e.g., ServiceNow, SolarWinds, HP Service Manager, Splunk). Be familiar with Software Development Lifecycle support (SDLC) or SCRUM/AGILE methodology. Retrieve software requirements and translate them into functional requirements to be distributed among team members using ServiceNow. Ensure service level agreements and objectives are met. Create and implement operational improvements to meet established objectives across multiple facilities. Develop processes for leveraging resources to meet customer needs. Maintain communications with management and staff to ensure that services are delivered on time and within budget or contractual obligations. Investigate and resolve matters of significance as appropriate. Qualifications 20 years of experience as a Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity. Demonstrated experience in planning and leading System Engineering efforts. Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university. Five (5) years of additional System Engineering experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree. Experience working with IT enterprise‑level system configuration and monitoring tools such as HP Openview, SolarWinds, Splunk, Remedy, and ServiceNow. Hands‑on application development, testing and deployment experience. Preferred: DoD 8570 IAT Level2 Certification.
