Emergency Room NurseJob Title: Emergency Room NurseProfession: RN Specialty: Emergency RoomDuration: 13 weeksShift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hoursExperience: Minimum 3 years preferred, open to first-time travelers License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: Previous experience in emergency room and medical surgical settings is preferred. Ability to adapt to different roles and patient needs as required.Description: The nurse may float between emergency room and medical surgical departments. Flexibility is required as some shifts may have a heavier medical surgical focus. The nurse will be responsible for providing care to patients who present with various conditions. The nurse will work with a team that includes other nurses, aides, and support staff. Patient ratios will typically be around 1:3 but may go up to 5:1 at times. The facility accepts exemptions for certain vaccinations. No specific uniform colors are required. Experience with the electronic medical record system is beneficial.
