Job Details:


• 8-hour day shifts with variable scheduling
• Self-scheduling is not allowed
• Required to work weekends and holidays in rotation with core staff, with compensatory days scheduled
• Possible on-call responsibilities
• Treat approximately 120-150 patients per day across the department, with 9 evaluations and 16 treatments per therapist daily
• Work with adult and pediatric patients across acute inpatient, ICU, acute inpatient rehab, and ADL settings
• Common diagnoses include trauma, neuro, ortho, general med surg, oncology, stroke, and oncology patients in both adult and pediatric populations
• Cover all department areas as needed including Level 2 trauma center, primary stroke center, same day discharge joint program, and inpatient rehab programs
• Perform ADL evaluations and documentation justifying next level of care
• Must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, flexibility, and strong teamwork skills
• Work alongside 1 rehab aide and 1 COTA
• Scrub color: any solid color, clean and professional
• Charting system: Cerner
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA)
• Wisconsin state license required prior to start

This medical center is a comprehensive acute care facility offering a wide range of specialized services including a Level 2 adult and pediatric trauma center, a primary stroke center, adult and pediatric ICUs, and extensive inpatient rehabilitation programs. The facility supports a robust therapy department that covers multiple specialty areas including neuro, ortho, oncology, and general med surg, providing travelers with a dynamic and clinically diverse work environment.
